He was the 6th employee of Hubspot, and is often referred to as a Sales Magician. When Dan Tyre sold dictionaries to work his way through college, he never once imagined he would one day be a Director at one of the World’s largest Inbound marketing platforms.

The Cruise to HubSpot

Dan first discovered his knack for convincing people to buy while selling dictionaries door-to-door during his college days. He soon landed a sales gig where he began to sell computers for a living.

His career was accelerated when he joined his boss at Businessland, and grew from a salesperson to a general manager within 8 years.

His track record includes: Founder & CEO of ALI Technologies, Co-Founder and VP of Sales at CelebraTech, Regional Manager at Groove Networks, and Area Director at Businessland. He was also President of Helm Software in Phoenix, Arizona for two years.

His attraction to fast-growing companies opened a new door for him when in May 2007, Dan had the opportunity to join the original team of HubSpot. Those who have worked with him say that his enthusiasm is infectious, and from managing the company’s sales recruiting, to sales training, to management mentorship and leadership programs—he has done it all.

He is an Inbound marketer to the core, and his knowledge makes him a popular speaker and coach to those seeking inbound success.

  2. Stay Positive: You’re never as good as you think you are, you’re never as bad as you think you are.
